Description
The Crambo Clinkers befriend a young boy, who is absolutely beautiful. They all go for long walks all over the Campsie Fells, to the Meikle Bin and Earls Seat, the highest point of the Campsies.
Every time they get to the top of a hill they recite a Robert Burns poem.
Jamie looks through his binoculars at the Top of the Meikle Bin.
“Hey Papa I can see a train going over the Forth Railway Bridge.”
“That’ll be right!” said Megan.
“Honest Papa, the driver is eatin’ a Mars Bar.”
Then one of the children becomes ill with a terrible disease….
